Chapter I: Building Blocks

Sneaker culture during the late 60’s and 70’s was the birthplace of the now 70 billion dollar industry we are all familiar with. To understand the steps this culture has taken up until this point, we first have dive into where it all started.

Chapter II: Breakthrough

During the 80’s and 90’s, sneakers began to attract mainstream appeal thanks to a few influential people in the hip-hop and basketball fields. As a result of this, the sneaker community quickly expanded and marked a major turning point in the culture.

Chapter III: The Takeover

By the time the 2000’s rolled around, the sneaker takeover was in full effect. This chapter highlights just how expansive the community had gotten and what how the perception of shoes will be changed forever.

Chapter IV: Tomorrow

After looking through the past few decades and how sneaker cultured has changed since it’s inception, it important to look forward in time to see what the landscape of tomorrow may be.

Bracket Launch

Once the official bracket was released, the audience was free to vote on their first round of matchups.

Voting Phase

Once the bracket of the week was released, additional were assets were shared across Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter where over 2.2 million votes were collected.

Winner Announcement

After the different rounds of voting, the winner of the bracket was revealed along with a surprise runner up where both were received a major price drop on eBay’s platform. Within 60 seconds the winning shoe was sold out.
